Prachi, Pursued her Master’s degree in Food Processing & Technology. She started her career as Production and QA Trainee (also was a part of HACCP team) at Gadre Marines, Ratnagiri, where she absorbed knowledge of fisheries, then joined Foods & Inns as Production and Quality Executive (also played a role as Dy. Food Safety Team Leader) here she implemented various National & International Food Safety Systems like- HACCP, ISO 22000:2005 (FSMS), etc.
Prachi, is a Certified Lead Auditor and Trainer in various National & International Food Safety Certifications- (FSSA & FSSR, HACCP, ISO 22000:2005, FSSC 22000, BRC-Food, etc.), she has conducted various audits & delivered trainings for Prominent Industries like- Hindustan Uniliver, Hindustan Coco-Cola Pvt. Ltd., Parle Products Pvt. Ltd., Chitale Bandhu -Mithaiwale, Tata Chemicals, Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd. and more. She also worked as an Empanelled Auditor for a Certification Body. Before Joining Pescafresh she worked with QSAFE Consultants India- as a Sr. Executive Food Safety, due to her expertise in Food Safety & hands-on experience in documentation, trainings & implementation of various Food Safety Systems, she catered to food industries manufacturing/processing- across processed foods, farm, fisheries and dairy products. Prachi, has authored a Manual on Guidelines & Requirements of FSSA & FSSR 2011—for Traders, Distributors & Retailers of Food products-Published on 7th June 2014, by Mumbai Dry Fruits & Dates Merchant Association in the presence of Mr. Mahesh Zhagde FDA-State Commissioner. She is a Regular speaker at Institutions like-Indian Oilseeds & Produce Exporter Promotion Council (IOPEPEC), SEA- Solvent Extraction Association, various Food Technologist Colleges (in Maharashtra) on topics like implementation of FSSAI-Licensing & registration, HACCP, ISO 22000:2005, etc.
